Torn

It's supossed to snow tomorrow. I really dislike snow. It's cold, it's wet, it's hard to drive on and it makes ice happen. I hate ice. HATE ice. It scares me. I am not graceful. If you wanna see something funny, put a not graceful person on ice and see just how ungraceful they can get...I'll tell ya...ungraceful enough to be in traction for MONTHS.

But Lydia's never seen snow before...

I'm completely torn!!

Lissa: I hear you about ice. I grew up in Minnesota and I HATE ice. I hate walking on it and I really hate driving on it. However, you will be able to enjoy the wonder of watching Lydia play in her first snow. That's probably worth a little ice!

Really? I thought all of China gets snow at some point. I just assumed Gwen's seen snow. No?

I am sure it does snow in the part of China where Lydia is from...but she would have been extremely young (only about 3-5 months old) when it was snowing in China. I assume she didn't go out in it at that age, so this will be her first up close and personal experience in all likelyhood. :-)

I hear ya' sister. I'm not a snow bunny and I loathe ice. It doesn't snow where we are all that often but we end up with boat loads of ice and it's icky, icky, icky. I can see where you're torn but if it does happen, Laura seems to be on the right parent track. A little giggling at a michelin-man type kidlet in the snow never permanently affected anybody :)

Yes I know...I haven't been including as many Lydia photos. Honestly it's because I'm blogging a lot during lunch at work and I do not have access to my computer which has all her photos on it...I've added some more tonight though!
